I’m listening to my audition recordings while scrolling through Tumblr. I keep thinking, “Oh, I kind of like this part!”… and then I realize that it’s because I’m not playing.

Friends, followers, violists extraordinaire, it has been a while since I posted here. Lots of time spent practicing, less time spent on the Internet. Is that really a bad thing? :) But let’s just say I’ve been needing some inspiration lately, so I’m back. Please feel free to submit viola goodness!

Ohh, hey. I didn’t mean to offend anybody! You’re absolutely right, Dominant strings (hell, Red Labels too) can be great. It all depends on the instrument and the player’s needs and I didn’t mean to come off all elitist-y. Sorry!
